Black Collar Tattoo is a community-driven studio rooted right here in Ogden. We’re a small team of artists who genuinely care about the people who walk through our doors, and we work hard to create a space that feels welcoming, creative, and real.
In our first year, we were honored to be voted Best Tattoo & Piercing Shop in Northern Utah 2025 — a recognition we owe entirely to our clients and the support they’ve shown us since day one.
Keeping our crew intentionally small allows us to focus on connection, quality, and giving every client an experience that feels personal. Whether you’re starting your tattoo journey or adding to your collection, we want you to feel comfortable, heard, and excited about what we create together.

Black Collar Tattoo is owned by Phaedra and Marticia Barraza (married in 2024 just months before opening BCT) a power couple building something real right here in Ogden. They discovered the space and knew this location was it, with nothing but a vision they started what you know now as
Black Collar Tattoo.
Marticia - @statictattoos was born and raised in Ogden, growing up surrounded by this city’s grit, art, and community. Opening a shop in her hometown wasn’t just a dream — it was a full-circle moment.
phaedra - @phancyinkd brings the same fire, heart, and creative drive, and together they’ve built a studio that reflects who they are:
bold, welcoming, authentic, and deeply rooted in the people they love.
They’re partners in life and partners in the craft — pushing each other creatively, supporting their artists fiercely, and creating a space where clients feel seen, respected, and hyped up.
